Chuck Schumer deletes Father's Day photo after online criticism

When Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer posted a photo of himself on Father’s Day, he never expected it to come back to bite him.

In his recent post on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, Schumer shared a photo of himself in front of the grill cooking for his family.

“Our family has lived in an apartment building for all our years, but my daughter and her wife just bought a house with a backyard and for the first time we’re having a barbeque with hot dogs and hamburgers on the grill! Father’s Day Heaven,” Schumer wrote in the X post.

However, followers of Schumer quickly noticed a major issue with the photo.

Schumer had placed the cheese on top of a RAW meat patty.

Internet trolls immediately sunk their teeth into the low-hanging fruit.

“Chuck. I love you man, but you put the cheese on AFTER the burger is cooked,” one X user wrote.

Schumer was met with so much criticism over his grilling game, it didn’t take long for him to delete the post entirely!

Maybe next year, Schumer will learn from his mistake and grill his burgers the right way!
