Christians in Nigeria massacred, 140 to 200 estimated casualties in latest killing spree

Christians in Nigeria are reportedly being “killed for sport” as armed bandits are running rampant and tensions between the country's Muslim and Christian populations grow.

Communities in Nigeria were attacked by bandits, and it is suspected that between 140 and 200 Christians were killed in a horrific display of brutality.

Evangelist Reverend Johnnie Moore took to X to say, "There was yet another Christmas massacre of Christians in Nigeria yesterday. The world is — silent. Just unbelievable."

Violence against Christians in West Africa is both horrifying and astonishingly common. Many attacks go undocumented, and for every horrific killing that leaves hundreds dead, there are likely several more that actually occurred.

The greatest threat in Nigeria is the terrorist group Boko Haram, which reportedly targets both Christians and Muslims who they see as too moderate.

Boko Haram has been responsible for countless brutal attacks and has taken untold lives. The group should have been brutally stomped out long ago, but in this day and age, terrorists are allowed to run rampant, and hundreds of people are losing their lives.
