Chris Christie Takes Step Toward 2024 Campaign

He's not yet in the "declared" column on Fox News, but former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie just made an appearance on Fox News' list of "potential" GOP candidates for 2024.

Many people are thinking that Christie is setting his eyes on the 2024 election after it was reported that his allies have set up a super PAC for his effort.

The Tell It Like It Is PAC is the latest signal that Christie might just decide to bless us with his presence in the upcoming GOP primary. It would make sense that Christie feels as if there is room for him to fit in. Despite being a Republican, he has not been afraid to stand up to former president Donald Trump on occasion.

That has made the 60-year-old Christie a very interesting, if not popular, candidate since Trump joined the fray.

The PAC is being led by Brian Jones, a senior advisor in 2008 for John McCain and in 2012 for Mitt Romney.

"Now more than ever we need leaders that have the courage to say not what we want to hear but what we need to hear," Jones said.
