Comer obtains message from DHS whistleblower alleging Walz's connection to CCP

As if Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz wasn't enough of a thorn in the side of Vice President Kamala Harris' presidential campaign, a recent whistleblower's report is becoming a total nightmare for her campaign.

According to Fox News, according to a Department of Homeland Security whistleblower's testimony obtained by House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY), Walz could reportedly be an actual threat to democracy, given the potential of China using him to influence U.S. policy. 

Comer spearheaded a months-long investigation into Walz's ties to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

The whistleblower claimed that Harris choosing Walz "feeds into" alleged activities by the Chinese government in its attempts to sway U.S. policy decisions.

The concern over Walz's CCP connection is very real, and the reported evidence is shocking, to say the least.

Fox News noted:

Last month, Comer subpoenaed DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas for records relating to those alleged connections after a whistleblower notified the committee of the existence of a non-classified Microsoft Teams group chat among DHS employees, as well as additional intelligence reports that allegedly contained information regarding Walz’s alleged connections to the CCP.

Earlier this week, Comer called Mayorkas out for not responding to the subpoena, which prompted a partial release of the whistleblower's testimony shortly after.

The message obtained from the whistleblower's communication is stunning, and nothing less than frightening.

"Walt’s [sic] got the Vp," the message reads, with the identity of the sender redacted. "You all have no idea how this feeds into what prc has been doing here with him and local gov."

It added, "It’s seriously a line of the intel. Target someone who is perceived they can get to DC."

Many social media users reacted to the news.

"Considering Walz is running to be the VP, you'd think this might create a sense of urgency for disclosure of this information. Having a CCP agent as VP wouldn't be a good thing for America," one X user wrote.

Another X user wrote, "This is dangerous. Is he a China plant? How many more people in this admin are also compromised?"
