CBS edits VP Harris' answer about Israel-Hamas war to make it shorter, more understandable
Vice President Kamala Harris' allies in the establishment media are still working overtime to make her look less cringeworthy in front of the cameras.
That was proven once again by the top brass at CBS, according to Fox News. A clip of a Harris "word salad" that was aired in a teaser for an upcoming 60 Minutes interview was ultimately not shown in the primetime, Sunday night program.
Instead, Fox News reported, a shorter, more direct version was aired.
Harris' bumbling and stumbling clip that was ultimately erased by the network was her answer to a question about the ongoing situation regarding the Israel-Hamas war and her administration's response to it all.
Fox News noted:
CBS aired two different answers to the same question in its "60 Minutes" interview with Vice President Kamala Harris, replacing a clip from the Democratic nominee that aired on "Face the Nation" Sunday when the interview package aired in a primetime special on Monday.
Social media users quickly pointed out that Harris seemed to provide two different answers to host Bill Whitaker when he asked her about the Israel-Hamas situation. The first answer, which was teased during Face the Nation, was the "word salad" version.
"Well Bill, the work that we have done has resulted in a number of movements in that region by Israel that were very much prompted by, or a result of, many things, including our advocacy for what needs to happen in the region," Harris said in the first clip, taking pauses and awkwardly stumbling through it.
In the version that aired on 60 Minutes, Harris seemed to provide a different, shorter answer.
"We are not going to stop pursuing what is necessary for the United States to be clear about where we stand on the need for this war to end," Harris said in the made-for-TV version of her otherwise long, bizarre original answer.
The internal polling numbers for Kamala Harris are so depressing that the Dems forced her to do some interviews. Her answers on 60 Minutes were so bad that CBS had to edit them to hide her ineptitude. CBS has been caught in a fraud against American voters. pic.twitter.com/cgJDE9pjfq

The obvious cover for Harris was slammed by many across social media, and the Trump campaign called for the release of the full, unedited version of her interview.
That will likely never happen, though, as it would further confirm for millions that the thought of Harris leading the United States on the world stage is nothing less than a total nightmare.
Not surprisingly, CBS has not commented on why it made the decision to edit Harris' answer.
Sadly, this definitely won't be the last time it happens.
