Casey DeSantis wears leather jacket that says, 'Where woke goes to die' on campaign trail
Casey DeSantis, wife of presidential candidate and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, was seen wearing a leather jacket that says "Where woke goes to die" featuring an alligator and the outline of Florida on it to a biker campaign rally over the weekend.
Her outfit drew comparisons to former First Lady Melania Trump, who wore a coat that said, "I really don't care do u?" in 2018 while visiting migrant children in Texas.
DeSantis' jacket had a less ambiguous message, however, and she is said to be an important part of the campaign.
When her hubby makes an awkward joke, she tells a story about her home life with their three children young children.
Ron DeSantis was one of eight presidential hopefuls to speak at the rally in Iowa on Saturday.
Each one got 10 minutes to state their platform to voters, including former VP Mike Pence, who has not yet formally announced he's running in 2024.
