California Keeps Trump On Primary Ballot

 December 30, 2023

Because of shock decisions in Colorado and Maine to boot Donald Trump off the 2024 primary ballot, many Americans have been worried that this miscarriage of justice would happen elsewhere in America as well.

Those people just got a little bit of good news.

Despite Trump not having much of a chance in the 2024 general election in California, he's at least going to be on the ballot.

Perhaps California only declined to remove him because they know their state is too liberal for him to win anyway.

If it was a battleground state, I sure could see the sharks in leadership taking the option to remove Trump from the ballot, whether such a move was legal or not.

Since it's not a battleground state, and any Democrat who runs is pretty much guaranteed to win anyway, maybe California just didn't see the need to reinforce its reputation for hating freedom once again.

Staunch liberal Gov. Gavin Newsom said that Trump was going to be defeated at the ballot box anyhow.

"There is no doubt that Donald Trump is a threat to our liberties and even to our democracy, but in California, we defeat candidates at the polls. Everything else is a political distraction," Newsom said.
