Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL) told Breitbart radio on Tuesday that the document the FBI finally relented and let the House Oversight Committee see is one of several "smoking guns" implicating the president in illegal bribery that the media is "choosing to ignore."

“I talked with the chairman yesterday, Chairman Comer, he relayed [exactly] what was in the document. And from their view, there’s no doubt about it that Joe Biden was involved in his bribery scheme, and that he knows full well what his brother and his son have been doing. I think that’s very easy for us to be able to present and to document,” Donalds told Breitbart News editor-in-chief Alex Marlow.

He added, “But the issue we’re going to have — and I just want to be very clear on this — is the Democrats are going to dissemble, the media is going to ignore, and I think that where conservatives and Republicans get upset — and rightfully so — is, in my view, we already have smoking guns on this family. But we have large parts of our media that just ignore it."

Donalds went on to say that the media would be all over the story if it involved a Republican like Donald Trump or Ron DeSantis "because the desired impact is politics, and to undermine Republican politics."

Donalds said he is endorsing Trump for president in 2024 because he was successful as president and could "hit the ground running day one to unwind all of this foolishness that Joe Biden has done to the country."

He said that the corruption in the investigations against Trump was "unfathomable, and the fact that he was still able to be a successful president, despite all the obstacles, is really a testament to his ability to lead and get things done."
