Byron Donalds Declares Candidacy For Speaker Of The House

According to the Washington Examiner, America may have finally found its next speaker of the House of Representatives.

Rep. Byron Donalds, a Republican from Florida could be the man.

Jim Jordan (R-OH) essentially has zero chance at this point of taking the gavel, no matter how badly some Republicans want it to happen.

Realizing this, Donalds is going to do his best to seize the opportunity:

"Tonight, I am announcing my candidacy for speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives," Donalds said on Oct. 20.

"My sole focus will be securing our border, funding our government responsibly, advancing a conservative vision for the House of Representatives and the American people, and expanding our Republican majority," Donalds said.
