The White House still won't confirm whether or not Hunter Biden has divested out of a 10% stake he had in a Chinese equity firm.
“I would refer you to his representative, that’s not something I can speak from – speak about from the podium,” White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said in Thursday's daily briefing in response to a reporter's question.
Chinese records show that as of recently, Hunter's company Skaneateles still owned 10% of Chinese investment firm BHR Partners, despite Hunter's lawyers saying that he has divested.
White House officials have refused at least 10 times to say whether Hunter had divested.
President Joe Biden has repeatedly said he has nothing to do with any Hunter Biden business dealings, but information on Hunter Biden's abandoned laptop contradicts his statements.
