White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre refused to address recorded emails that were found on Hunter Biden's laptop in which President Joe Biden discusses Hunter's business relationship to China, seemingly a violation of repeated statements by the president that he was never involved in Hunter's overseas business dealings.
“I’m not going to talk about alleged materials on the laptop. It’s not happening,” Jean-Pierre said when questioned by a reporter about the statement. “I refer you to his son’s representative.”
“I thought the article released online, it’s going to be printed tomorrow in the Times, was good. I think you’re clear,” Biden said in the 2018 recording.
Jean-Pierre also said, "What the president said stands," in an apparent attempt to shut down further questioning.
I guess we should believe her, even if it makes no sense whatsoever and flies in the face of facts we already know.
