Former President Donald Trump held a massive rally in Alaska on Saturday night with former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, and it appears the two could be forming a powerful political relationship.
Palin is a favorite among conservatives but has kept a low profile ever since being tapped as failed presidential candidate John McCain's running mate in 2008.
Now she's back in politics and is running for Alaska's sole seat in the House of Representatives.
Palin has been a strong supporter of Trump and she quickly captured his endorsement in Alaska's House race. Palin said that she was grateful to have gotten the endorsement "early on in this race, and I'm excited to welcome him to the great state of Alaska."
Trump's rally was, by many metrics, a massive success and reminded Democrats just how powerful Trump is among regular Americans.
Palin could find herself in the House of Representatives and could very well be a key part of Trump's plans going forward as he continues to reshape and modernize the Republican Party.
