Iowa Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley said “Based on recent protected disclosures to my office, the FBI has within its possession significant, impactful, and voluminous evidence with respect to potential criminal conduct by Hunter Biden and James Biden,” the senator wrote in a letter to top officials as well as Delaware U.S. Attorney David Weiss, who is investigating Hunter Biden.
Grassley questioned whether former Hunter Biden business associate Tony Bobulinski's assertions that President Joe Biden was involved in Hunter's foreign business dealings were ever investigated by the FBI or used to build their case against the younger Biden.
He alleged that former FBI agent Tim Thibault shut down the investigation into Hunter Biden's laptop.
There is direct evidence that President Joe Biden was involved in Hunter Biden's business dealings at least 17 times, despite him claiming he has never been involved in any way.
Grassley's attempts to hold the Biden family accountable for its actions are admirable, and will hopefully bear fruit when Republicans get back in power after the midterms.
