Former Democrat presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard isn't wasting any time showing that she no longer identifies with the Democrat party.
Just days after she announced that she would leave the party, she endorsed Trump-backed Republican Joe Kent for a House seat in Washington state.
“My friend Joe Kent is a fighter,” Gabbard said in an ad endorsing Kent. "He's dedicated his life to ensuring the safety, security and freedom of the American people and our country. With your vote, Joe's going to go to Washington and work tirelessly to secure the border and bring you and your loved ones peace of mind."
Kent won the primary against incumbent Jaime Herrera Beutler, who voted with nine other Republicans to impeach former President Donald Trump.
Gabbard was formerly a House Rep. from Hawaii before leaving her seat to run for president in 2019.
