In Chicago over the weekend, 52 people were shot and 11 of those people lost their lives to the senseless violence.
An apparent gang incident involving a "caravan" at the intersection of Archer and Kedzie led to five people being shot, and three of them were fatalities.
Two of the men killed were 20 years old and one was 15.
Police said they did not know how the shooting started or the motive behind the incident.
So far this year, 564 people have been shot to death in Chicago, which has been Democrat-run for decades.
