David DePape, who was arrested for beating Paul Pelosi during a home invasion, was reportedly arrested in his underwear for the crime and left behind a manifesto that referenced conspiracy theories.
He also had a list targeting other politicians, local news sources said.
DePape's behavior was so disturbing that several people who had said they were his friends had to cut off contact with him because of it, they told the media.
Linda Schneider ultimately cut ties with DePape after she received “really disturbing” emails where he sounded like “a megalomaniac and so out of touch with reality.”
She said DePape seemed dangerous and "used Biblical justification to do harm."
