Another 45 people were shot, and four of them were killed last weekend in the Democrat-run city of Chicago.
Three of the four fatalities were men in their 20s, and the fourth was a 41-year-old man.
Two of the fatal shootings occurred early Saturday morning within minutes of each other, and a third also occurred in the early morning hours.
The fourth fatal shooting occurred in broad daylight at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
A total of 397 people have been killed in the city since the beginning of 2022 despite some of the strictest gun control laws in the country.
