John Fetterman is such a terrible candidate that his hometown newspaper has endorsed his Republican opponent, Dr. Mehmet Oz.
The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette said that it was concerned about Fetterman's "lack of transparency" and that “Oz is the better bet for Pennsylvania.”
The Gazette also said Fetterman's "lack of maturity" in living off his family's money and his previous anti-fracking sentiments are further areas of concern for it.
The newspaper praised Oz for his experience in low-income neighborhoods and his stated willingness to vote differently from Republican Senate leader Mitch McConnell (KY) on some issues.
The endorsement did not mention Fetterman's health or poor debate performance, which have seemed to sway Pennsylvania voters, causing Oz to lead narrowly in some polls weeks before the midterms.
