Pelosi recently traveled to Taiwan, nearly sparking an armed conflict with China. President Biden quietly pressured Pelosi not to go to avoid aggravating China, but Pelosi ignored the President and went anyways.
Pelosi called China's bluff and exposed them for their saber-rattling which could be considered a major success. However, there is now a question of just how coordinated the President and the effective leader of the Democrat Party are.
Pelosi's visit to Taiwan embarrassed President Biden and made him look weak. It would be safe to assume such behavior would infuriate Biden, but it is also possible he has simply forgotten about the incident by now.
As intriguing as this situation may be for Republicans looking to exploit a split between Democrats, there is still danger to the nation. President Biden is not in control and Americans could pay the price for his weakness if the situation in Southeast Asia escalates.
