He's starting to sound like a broken record, with all the distortion and repetition that analogy implies.
President Joe Biden said yet again Wednesday on Twitter that he will not stop until he gets a renewed ban on assault weapons.
"I signed the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act into law, the first major gun safety legislation in nearly 30 years. I’m not going to stop until I again get an assault weapons ban passed," he tweeted.
Back in August, Biden said that Democrats could get a weapons ban passed if they picked up two more Senate seats in November.
Potentially, he thinks he could get the filibuster nullified if he could get 51 Democrats and overcome the opposition of Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) to the plan.
