Finally, someone has figured out why the wife of Moscow's former mayor gave Hunter Biden $3.5 million.
A new report states that the payment was the fee for a $40 million real estate deal Hunter's firm Rosemont Realty made with Yelena Baturina in 2012 while Joe Biden was Vice President.
Baturina was one of several investors in a $160 million group of U.S. properties that Hunter Biden's firm compiled and recruited investors for.
The firm also put $15 million of its own money into the investment, but there's no information on where the money came from.
At the time of the investment, Baturina and her husband lived in Great Britain after leaving Russia in disgrace.
