The powerful Iraqi Shiite cleric Moqtada al-Sadr has announced his "final withdrawal" from politics.
His reason? "Frustration with the paralyzed Iraqi system."
Supportes of Moqtada have organized a "sit-in" in the Green Zone of Baghdad for several weeks.
Recently, though, the group turned violent, erupting into violence.
Helicopters have been seen landing at the American Embassy in Baghdad, maybe to evacuate Americans.
