U.S. and Western allies have been mostly silent about the killing of Nidal Agbaria, a 44-year-old Arab-Israeli journalist who had been reporting on Arab-on-Arab crime in Umm Al-Fahm and other Arab areas of Israel.
Agbaria was shot by two masked men at close range Sunday night while he was sitting in his car outside his home in Umm Al-Fahm.
The shooting follows an incident last year in which Agbaria's house had 50 rounds of ammunition shot at it, supposedly a warning about Agbaria's reporting on Arab crime.
The situation seems to be getting worse as time goes on, with more Arabs being killed.
The day after Agbaria was killed, Arab criminals also shot Manar Hajaj, 34, and her twin 14-year-old daughters as they were coming home from the grocery store. Hajaj and one of the twins died and the other is in critical condition.
