Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson said that he won't be running for president in 2024 because it would prevent him from keeping his family a top priority.
During a CBS Sunday Morning interview, Johnson said, “It’s off the table. Yes, it is off the table,” in reference to his candidacy.
“I love our country and everyone in it. I also love being a daddy," he said.
“I know what it was like,” he continued, “to be on the road and be so busy that I was absent for a lot of years when my first daughter [was] growing up. So, my number one priority is my daughters. Sure, CEO sounds great but the number one thing I want to be is a daddy. That’s it.”
Johnson used to be a conservative but in 2020 he endorsed Biden and Harris, so he would not likely be the best candidate anyway.
