BREAKING: Elon Musk Pulls The Trigger - Confirms Shocking Move...

July 18, 2022

Billionaire Elon Musk filed a motion to deny Twitter's request to fast-track the trial over whether Musk can end his agreement to buy Twitter for $44 billion.

Musk's legal team claimed that Twitter's request that the trial be conducted in under two months was "unjustifiable."

A filing by Musk's legal team claimed that "Twitter's sudden request for warp speed after two months of foot-dragging and obfuscation is its latest tactic to shroud the truth about spam accounts long enough to railroad defendants into closing."

The impending legal battle seems to be the culmination of a months-long battle by Musk to expose Twitter and crash its value. Musk originally entered into an agreement to buy the social media giant before discovering that the site had massively inflated its user base with bots.

Twitter will now have to provide evidence in court about its users and that information will likely lead to a massive crash in value.

Musk would presumably then buy the company at a much lower price than he is currently obliged to. Twitter is terrified of the truth and is trying to speed up this trial, but it appears that Musk isn't letting them off the hook without a real fight.
