A new poll from Oklahoma showed that former President Donald Trump still holds a commanding lead over his nearest rival.
Half of the respondents in the poll supported Trump as the preferred nominee, with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) getting 22% support. Former Vice President Mike Pence came in a distant third with six percent.
The Amber Integrated poll was released Wednesday and includes responses after news broke of the FBI raid on Mar-A-Lago, which outraged many Americans.
A separate national poll by Trafalgar Group showed that 70% of voters were more likely to vote because of the raid, while 83% of Republican voters said they were more energized to vote.
A YouGov/Economist poll showed that Republican enthusiasm increased five points above Democrat enthusiasm after the raid.
