Former President Donald Trump is working to withhold two folders that the FBI seized from his Mar-a-Lago resort, according to court filings.
Trump is working to have the folders kept confidential during the FBI's investigation into whether Trump retained classified national defense information and obstructed justice.
The first folder Trump wants to be locked down was marked "NARA letters and other copies." The other folder was titled "NARA letters one top sheet + 3 signing sheets."
Trump's legal team has been tight with information, and questions directed toward Trump's team about the sealing of the two folders have gone unanswered so far.
This latest development could bring major changes as the battle between Trump and the FBI intensifies following the shocking raid on Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence.
One thing is for sure, Trump isn't being passive and is determined to beat the FBI. If Trump can succeed in keeping some of the seized records confidential, that will go a long way toward helping him win in court.
