On Thursday, the Centers for Disease Control ended the part of its COVID-19 guidance that has different restrictions based on a person's vaccination status.

The new guidelines drop mandatory quarantines for those exposed to the virus, regardless of vaccine status. Also ended are recommendations to test people without symptoms and those who have been exposed to the virus but are not yet sick.
