President Biden confirmed on Sunday that he is looking into declaring a public health emergency over abortion following the Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v. Wade.
The President told reporters, "Keep protesting. Keep making your point. It's critically important. We can do a lot of things to accommodate the rights of women."
The President's advisors are currently researching the viability of such a plan and what impact it would have following the Supreme Court's decision that overturned the idea of abortion being a constitutional right.
This follows on the heels of President Biden signing an executive order last Friday that expanded access to abortion medication and ensured that women traveling across state lines for abortion would not face legal repercussions.
All of that hasn't stopped radical leftist activists from demanding that the President do more to protect abortion rights.
Unfortunately for President Biden, it seems that there isn't much he can do outside of what he already has done. The only path forward lies through an evenly divided Congress with an election just months away.
