The number of Americans who self-evaluated their circumstances to qualify as "suffering" has nearly doubled under President Joe Biden, compared to a record-low number under former President Donald Trump.
The number, 5.6%, was the highest since the measurement began in 2008 and higher than during the entirety of COVID-19 restrictions.
The Gallup Poll analysis credited 40-year inflation and current economic conditions for the high number.
It turns out, the cure for economic woes brought on by inflation is proving to be worse than the disease, just as Trump and many Republicans warned.
Not that Democrats are listening or paying attention.
