BREAKING: Attack Stuns Law Enforcement - Weapon STOLEN...

August 8, 2022

A terrifying attack in the Boystown area of Chicago on Friday ended with an off-duty officer being beaten and his weapon stolen by four female suspects.

An article from CWB Chicago explained, "Officials said four women punched the 58-year-old man in his face and body in the 3700 block of North Broadway around 2:50 a.m. The victim's silver revolver fell to the ground, and one of the women picked it up and fled, according to prosecutors."

The four suspects, Sophia Ewing, 21, Brianna Tsidel, 30, Pressha Fountain, 32, and Lavivian Harris, 30, were quickly apprehended after running from the scene and the weapon was recovered nearby.

Chicago Police announced that the four are being charged with misdemeanor theft and misdemeanor battery and Harris is facing a charge of felony possession of a controlled substance.

This attack was just one of dozens in the Democrat-run city of Chicago. Under Mayor Lori Lightfoot, the Windy City's violence epidemic has reached new heights.

It isn't safe to be unarmed in Chicago, but that also raises concerns about weapons being lost and stolen. Thankfully in this particular case, the suspects were quickly arrested, and the weapon was recovered.
