Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) was heckled at her own town hall on Wednesday night by anti-war protesters.
Protesters shouted "AOC has got to go!" as she "danced" along with them and tried to reason with them.
Finally, someone turned the lights out and Ocasio-Cortez was escorted out of the room. “I’m not allowed to be in a room with the lights turned off,” she was heard saying.
At least one protester wanted her to explain why she wants to defund police.
She faces Republican Tina Forte in her re-election bid for the 14th district of New York after the 12th district, which she now represents, was eliminated due to redistricting.
