Bragg Demanding To Keep Trump Case In State Court

Former President Donald Trump has been trying to get a federal court to take over his New York State criminal case in which he has been charged with falsifying business records.

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg is working his absolute hardest to block the case from moving.

Official court filings show that the tactic Bragg is currently using to say that Trump needs to face justice in the state of New York is to point out that no change in venue is required because Trump is not a federal "officer," who would be entitled to such an adjustment.

Trump's team had trouble seeing how a former American president is not a federal officer, but Bragg doubled down. Alvin went as far to insist that Trump needs to stay in New York because he wasn't a federal officer prior to November of 2016.

The hush money being scrutinized was allegedly sent by Donald Trump to porn star Stormy Daniels before he became president.

Do you think that Donald Trump should be allowed to move the case, or should have to stay in New York? Let us know in the comments below.
