Boebert fifth in straw poll of new district

Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) may not have as easy of a time as she thinks transitioning from the Third to the Fourth Congressional District for the 2024 election: she finished fifth in a straw poll there on Thursday.

The Fourth District is much more solidly Republican than the Third, where she won in 2022 by only 600 votes.

Since then, Boebert has gone through a divorce, groped a date in public at the theater, and had an altercation with her ex-husband that involved police.

Following Thursday's debate involving nine candidates, Boebert finished fifth with about 10% of the total votes.

It seems that voters may just be tired of the drama that seems to follow her wherever she goes.

It's good to see voters rejecting candidates who act like middle schoolers and holding their elected officials to a higher standard--at least in this instance.
