'Blue Bloods' Actor Dead Following Vehicular Collision

Treat Williams was just 71 years old.

The Blue Bloods actor who also had roles in Hair and Everwood passed away following a motorcycle accident in Vermont on June 12.

Vermont State Police confirmed that Williams passed away after his motorcycle was unable to avoid an SUV, and the two vehicles collided.

"The Vermont State Police is investigating a crash between an SUV and a motorcycle Monday afternoon, June 12, 2023, in Dorset in which the operator of the motorcycle suffered fatal injuries," officials said, adding:

The motorcyclist is identified as Richard Treat Williams, 71, of Manchester Center, Vermont.

"Initial investigation indicates the SUV stopped, signaled a left turn, and then turned into the path of a northbound 1986 Honda VT700c motorcycle operated by Williams," the report went on.

Williams was immediately airlifted to Albany Medical Center in New York but was pronounced dead there.
