Blinken Tells Netanyahu That Israel Can't Defeat Hamas

Secretary of State Antony Blinken may as well have just spit in the Israeli prime minister’s face.

According to NBC News, Blinken met with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to tell him there is no “military solution” for defeating the Hamas.

NBC News reported that Blinken even went so far as to tell Netanyahu he is better off accepting a Palestinian state or watching the history of violence repeat itself.

Netanyahu did not accept Blinken’s statement.

According to recent polls, neither do over two-thirds of the citizens of Israel.

Since the horrific massacre that claimed the lives of 1,200 Israelis and ended in the abduction of over 250 others, the country has experienced a radical shift in where citizen support of a Palestinian state lies.

Maybe Blinken should have considered that before giving his advice to Netanyahu.

Blinken may also needed to be reminded that the Hamas’ record shows the terrorist group will not stop, regardless of the existence of a Palestinian state.
