Bill Gates reportedly trying to get on Trump's good side ahead of inauguration

Billionaire Bill Gates, known for his leftist philanthropic efforts, is reportedly doing his best to get on President-elect Donald Trump's good side ahead of Monday's inauguration.

Gates recently told the Wall Street Journal in an interview released on Friday that he talked with Trump for three hours and claimed that the conservation was very productive and the two covered a variety of topics.

The noted billionaire told the WSJ, "You know global health is the area that I work in. Such amazing things have happened and can happen there. [Trump] was fascinated to hear what he could do to maximize the chance that during the next four years, that incredible milestone will be achieved."

Gates serves as chairman of the Gates Foundation, an organization dedicated to global health initiatives and channeling billions of dollars around the world.

There is no doubt that Gates is an avowed leftist, and some conservatives may worry about Trump having supposedly productive conversations with him, considering his longstanding efforts to push progressive initiatives.

However, it shouldn't surprise Trump supporters to see Gates kissing the ring and trying to get in with the new president and to stay on his good side for the next four years.
