Biden urges Congress to codify Roe v. Wade after Senate blocks contraception bill

 June 6, 2024

President Joe Biden is FURIOUS after Senate Republicans recently blocked a bill from consideration that would have established a federal right to birth control.

As a result, America's president doubled down on his recent demands that Congress codify the abortion protections of Roe v. Wade into federal law.

After the decision to reverse Roe v. Wade was made in 2022, states are now allowed to make their own decisions on abortion, but Joe Biden doesn't want it that way.

He understands that many liberal voters think that a fetus is something that should simply be thrown in the trash if it is inconvenient, and he is trying to pander to as many of those voters as possible.

"@VP and I believe that women in every state must have the freedom to make deeply personal health care decisions," Biden posted on social media.

"We’ll continue to fight to protect access to reproductive health care and we urge Congress to restore the protections of Roe v. Wade in federal law, Biden continued.
