Biden spokesperson insists he is still running country during 2 weeks of vacation

National Security spokesperson John Kirby scolded a reporter on Monday who dared to ask who was running the country while President Joe Biden is on vacation for two weeks.

'The president is on vacation, but you can never unplug and from a job like that. Nor does he try to,' Kirby said in a zoom briefing with reporters after saying, "You know better than that."

"He's very much in command," he noted of Biden.

After making his midnight farewell speech at the Democrat National Convention, Biden took off for a family vacation at his billionaire donor's 8,000-square foot ranch in California.

From there, he went to his beach house in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware where he will remain until after Labor Day.

For anyone who thinks Vice President Kamala Harris is picking up the slack, her schedule is apparently clear until Wednesday and after that, she's campaigning.
