Biden response to Iranian drone attack in Syria called 'weak'

Republicans criticized President Joe Biden for his response to an attack by Iranian forces in Syria by a drone that killed an American and wounded six others.

The criticism persisted even after Biden ordered retaliatory air strikes that killed eight Iranians.

Iranian proxy-forces then retaliated again on Friday against a U.S. base in Syria, but no casualties or injuries were reported.

The tit-for-tat was the reason for the criticism.

"President Biden and his national security team are letting America down," Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) said. "I fear General Milley and Secretary of Defense Austin are not proving to be up to the task of providing the deterrence America needs to remain safe. However, the ultimate blame for the failing foreign policy and military situation we find ourselves in lies with President Biden."

The U.S. is not going to get any respect as long as Biden is in charge. We might as well get used to it.
