Biden has denied involvement in family business multiple times

 August 15, 2023

As House Republicans pile on the evidence that suggests President Joe Biden was well aware of his son Hunter Biden's business dealings, the elderly, often-confused president still denies involvement to this day.

Testimony earlier this month from Hunter's former business partner, Devon Archer, seemed to be the icing on the cake, as Archer revealed that Biden was on speakerphone some 20 times while Hunter was doing business deals or talking to other business partners.

Biden was recently questioned about the testimony by Peter Doocy from Fox News, the only outlet with reporters who ask serious questions.

The president, who has snapped at Doocy -- and other reporters in the past -- in previous press conferences, was once again unhappy with being asked a serious, legitimate question. Biden refused to answer the question and tossed in an insult.

"I never talked business with anybody. I knew you'd have a lousy question," Biden said after Doocy asked him about Archer's revelations, which suggest that then-Vice President Biden was aware of Hunter's shady business dealings, and probably involved in them to varying degrees.

That marked the tenth time Biden has denied involvement in his son's businesses on camera.

It all started in 2019, when Biden said, "I have never discussed with my son or my brother or anyone else anything having to do with their business, period."

That messaging was repeated in various forms over the coming years, even as Republicans produce additional evidence that suggests the contrary.

Just The News noted:

Testimony from two family friends, Rob Walker and Devon Archer, as well as evidence from Hunter Biden’s laptop seized by the FBI in 2019 confirm that President Biden in fact had frequent contact with Hunter Biden’s business associates, specifically with executives from a Chinese energy company tied to the Communist party and whose top executive Patrick Ho was convicted of bribery in the United States.

Archer said the president was on his son’s phone – usually making small talk with the business partners about 20 times that he witnessed – and he attended two dinners as vice president with Hunter Biden’s business partners at the Café Milano restaurant in Washington D.C. in April 2014 and again in April 2015.

Many have criticized the majority of the mainstream media that seems to conveniently overlook the president's seemingly false statements.

"The mainstream media, they're not aware of the fact or they're not reporting the fact that Joe Biden lied through his teeth, repeatedly to the American public saying, ‘I never talked to Hunter about his overseas business deals.’ I mean, we've known that was a lie for years," Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) told Just The News.

He added, "It won't surprise any of us that Joe Biden was far more involved in Hunter’s schemes, in his grifts than certainly we know at this point in time."

Many believe it's only a matter of time before Biden and the White House have to figure out a way to walk the statements back.
