Biden Contradicts South Korean Allies

January 4, 2023

President Joe Biden grabbed the mic on Jan. 3 and told reporters that his "administration was not discussing joint nuclear exercises with South Korea."

Many were confused because just recently South Korean President Yoon Suk-Yeol had said that Biden's administration WAS discussing joint nuclear exercises with South Korea.

In an interview also published on Monday, Yoon had told Chosun Ilbo that he had recommended "joint planning and joint exercise" with America that included nuclear forces and that Biden was "quite positive" in regard to the request.

South Korea is not a nuclear power and has not had any American nuclear assets stored there since 1991. Despite this, the people of South Korea have "historically supported becoming a nuclear power in years of polling."

So, when a reporter asked Biden "are you discussing joint nuclear exercises with South Korea right now?" it was shocking to hear Dirty Joe respond with a simple "no."

Who's got their facts confused here? I don't know about Yoon, but Biden doesn't have a good track record.
