Biden commutes sentence of man behind 'kids for cash' scandal

 December 15, 2024

Joe Biden has never been the most honest man in the universe, but now that he's about to leave office and isn't worried about re-election ever again, we're really starting to see his true colors.

Despite promising over and over again that he wouldn't do it, Joe Biden recently pardoned his son, Hunter Biden. Joe Biden felt that Hunter Biden had been targeted because of his last name, but he was perfectly happy letting Donald Trump face years of lawfare when it benefitted him.

Hunter Biden's pardon wasn't the only clemency shenanigans that Biden's been up to lately, though.

Joe Biden commuted the sentences of 1,500 people in the last week or so, but many Americans feel as though at least some of these people should have stayed in jail.

Among those people is Michael Conahan, a judge who was part of an illegal scheme in Pennsylvania to send children to for-profit prisons in exchange for kickbacks.

Conahan betrayed the trust of the people who put him in power.

This is NOT a good man, and he is someone who probably deserves to be in jail.

But much like Hunter Biden, it's not about what you do, it's about who you know.

Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro, a Democrat, criticized Biden's decision.

"I do feel strongly that President Biden got it absolutely wrong and created a lot of pain here in northeastern Pennsylvania," he said.

I agree, Josh.
