Biden calls death of Hezbollah leader 'measure of justice'
President Joe Biden may be old and just barely hanging on by a thread, but he doesn't want other countries and organizations to think they can push him around.
That's why Biden is calling the death of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah a "measure of justice."
Nasrallah was recently killed in an Israeli strike on Lebanon's capital city.
"Hassan Nasrallah and the terrorist group he led, Hezbollah, were responsible for killing hundreds of Americans over a four-decade reign of terror," Joe Biden said in a statement. "His death from an Israeli airstrike is a measure of justice for his many victims, including thousands of Americans, Israelis, and Lebanese civilians."
"The strike that killed Nasrallah took place in the broader context of the conflict that began with Hamas’s massacre on October 7, 2023," Biden added.
"Nasrallah, the next day, made the fateful decision to join hands with Hamas and open what he called a ‘northern front’ against Israel," Joe continued.
