U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Matthew Graves refused to cooperate with Delaware U.S. Attorney David Weiss on potentially charging Hunter Biden in D.C. for alleged tax crimes committee in 2014-2015.
In case you're wondering why an American official would refuse to be a part of following or enforcing the law, maybe things will become clearer once you realize who appointed Graves to his lofty position.
it was none other than Hunter Biden's father, Joe Biden.
And Democrats are still trying to convince us that their defense of Hunter Biden and attacks on Donald Trump aren't simply politically motivated stunts.
Graves testified that Weiss had contacted him asking for "administrative support" at a minimum, but Graves wouldn't give it to him.
"Yes. To the best of my recollection, in late February or early March of 2022, then-U.S.Attorney Weiss, now Special Counsel Weiss, called me directly," Graves testified. "To my recollection, he said that he had a case where there was a component of that case that he had deemed he wanted to bring in the District of Columbia."
Graves wouldn't help though.
He owed Joe Biden a favor.
