Biden Admin Planning To Cut Vital Water Supplies In 7 States

 April 12, 2023

Do you live in one of the following states?

Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming, Arizona, California, or Nevada?

If so, the Biden administration is pushing a plan to cut your water supply.

The Department of the Interior has released a proposal to combat low water levels in the Colorado river.

Their solution? Cut water supply to the states that are dependent on the river system.

It is projected that the Colorado River system provides water for more than 40,000,000 Americans. Huge portions of western state's economies are based upon the Colorado River. It's unclear right now how those might be impacted by the proposed solution.

"Failure is not an option," said Tommy Beaudreau, the Department of the Interior's deputy secretary. "Recognizing the severity of the worsening drought, the Biden-Harris administration is bringing every tool and every resource to bear through the President’s Investing in America agenda to protect the stability and sustainability of the Colorado River System now and into the future."
