Bid To Disqualify Trump Under 14th Amendment Heads To Minnesota Supreme Court

 November 4, 2023

Many people thought it was just a joke when it started out, but it would appear as though Minnesota's Supreme Court does NOT consider this any laughing matter.

The justices actually going to hear a case that could potentially keep Donald Trump off the 2024 presidential ballot.

Minnesota's highest court has already heard oral arguments in the case that were brought forward by the left-wing group Free Speech for People.

Free Speech for People has insisted that Trump is ineligible to return to the White House because of the 14th Amendment, which prohibits anyone who has "engaged in insurrection or rebellion" from running for president.

"Donald Trump engaged in rebellion and insurrection against the Constitution of the United States in a desperate attempt to remain in office after losing the election," the group's legal director said in court.

Of the five jurists who heard the arguments, four of them have been appointed by Democrats.
