Barron Trump makes rare public appearance in family Christmas photo

Former first lady Melania Trump is extremely protective of her son, Barron Trump, especially as the media became nastier toward the Trump family as a whole.

Many have raised questions about Barron Trump and what role he might play in the future as far as his place in the Trump family.

According to the New York Post, a recent Christmas photo posted to social media which shows nearly the entirety of the Trump family, including Barron Trump, is a major sign that he's involved and ready to be seen.

The Post noted:

The rarely seen 17-year-old posed for a holiday snapshot with his father, three of his siblings and other members of his extended family while his mom, Melania, was missing because she is caring for her sick mother, Amalija.

Former aides told the outlet that the picture is notable, to say the least.

Melania’s former senior aide, Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, told the Post that Barron's inclusion in the photo, let alone letting it be posted to social media, is "truly monumental." The former aide predicted that America will see more of Barron Trump in the near future.

"Melania’s decision to include Barron in this family activity, even if she couldn’t be there herself, might be a significant turning point, potentially fostering a new level of support between Melania and Donald," Wolkoff said.

"Barron’s appearance is truly monumental and shows Donald and Melania are in lockstep with one another," Wolkoff said. "I believe we will be seeing more of him now. Nothing happens by chance with Melania."

Many have criticized Melania Trump for not appearing with her husband on the campaign trail, though Donald Trump put any such doubt to rest on several occasions, promising that his wife will join him on the trail soon enough.

Social media users reacted to the photo, with many acknowledging Barron Trump's height. He's reportedly around 6'7" tall, towering over his father and brothers.

"Barron Trump is taller than Trump Tower," one X user wrote.

Another X user wrote, "@realDonaldTrump I know you’ll raise another good man… please let him be the next alpha president we need in the future."

Many have speculated that Barron Trump could follow in his father's footsteps and join the political arena. Only time will tell.
