Barack Obama's protective detail responds to 'security lapse'
Geez, apparently it isn't only the VIPs on the Republican side of the aisle who are finding themselves in danger lately.
A report published by the Daily Mail detailed a serious "security lapse" from the group of Secret Service agents who were supposed to be keeping Barack Obama safe.
During a recent trip to Los Angeles, "Obama was being guarded by his protective detail inside a black SUV when an armed man said he approached the vehicle," according to TMZ.
The exact details of what happened aren't 100% clear, but the Mail is reporting that "the unidentified man was there checking on the situation in his capacity as a security guard for a bar mitzvah, after being informed there were federal agents stationed outside."
"Upon approaching, he says he came across the government vehicle, then snapped an image of it, only to see the former president seated in the passenger side of the vehicle," the source continued.
Do you think that we need to be worried about how close this man was able to get to Barack Obama?
Or is this a big deal about nothing?
