Barack Obama calls on Biden campaign to make big changes, reportedly worried about Trump

 January 7, 2024

Former President Barack Obama has reportedly called for President Joe Biden's campaign to make fundamental structural changes as his fears of former President Donald Trump's electoral prospects in November continue to loom.

Obama isn't satisfied with the job that Biden's campaign is doing, and for him to publicly call for changes speaks about how bad things are getting for the current president.

According to a report from the Washington Post, Obama became "animated" during a lunch with Biden at the White House.

Citing three people familiar with the matter, it seems that Obama's fears are growing, and perhaps there is some level of disconnect between him and Biden.

Biden is 81 years old and, in the eyes of many, not fit for another term in office. It's entirely possible that Biden simply doesn't understand what is happening anymore, and Obama is recognizing that Trump's return to power is highly likely.

Polls indicate that Trump has the advantage with the election eleven months away. Biden needs to do something drastic to reverse this trend if he wants to stay in the Oval Office.
